One question that many people have asked is “Is America found in the Bible” and many would be quick to answer “no”. But what if we take another, closer, look in one of the first 5 books of the Bible; we would all be very surprised to find out that it America is actually there. But, there are some things we must know before going on. What is the Torah ? The Torah are the first 5 books of the Bible; Inspired by God, written by Moses while in the wilderness. There are 5,852 verses in the Torah in total. Another thing to know is that the amount of verses adds up to a Jewish year. You can take the Jewish verse number and it will add up to the Jewish year in which a particular event happened; which can also reciprocate back into our regular year.

Let me show you how this works. Let's take the Jewish year 5708. The 5,708th verse of the Torah is Deut. 30: 5. This verse talks about God bringing the Jewish people back to their land. In our regular year; it’s 1948. On May 14th, 1948 God re-gathered Jews in their land. This is a prophecy inside the book of Deuteronomy.

So, now let's see about America. Let's look at the Jewish year 5536. The 5536th verse is found in Deut. 25 vs. 9 but for a little more context we’re going to start from verse 8; but our key verse is verse 9. It says The elders of the town will then summon him and talk with him. If he still refuses and says, ‘I don’t want to marry her,’ the widow must walk over to him in the presence of the elders, pull his sandal from his foot, and spit in his face. Then she must declare, ‘This is what happens to a man who refuses to provide his brother with children".Here we have the elders assembled trying to talk to the person, we see the person refusing, and the separation of the foot from the sandal. But let’s look back in U.S. History for a second.

The 2nd Continental Congress (elders assembled) signed a peace treaty called The Olive Branch Petition. This petition was calling for reconciliation between the colonies and the Crown. They wanted to avoid a separation. But this letter explains why the colonists weren’t happy with the way the Crown was treating them.Upon its arrival to the British palace, the king refused to read it.This angers the 2nd Continental Congress and a year later they sign a famous document. The Jewish Year 5536; is our regular year 1776; the year this famous document called the Declaration of Independence was signed separating us from the British crown. This is American History right in the words of the Bible itself.
